Well, hel-LO!!! I know, it's been a while. And last post was not so happy. But I am sick of coming to my blog, and being reminded of it every time. I don't mean to sound callous, but....anyways. I can't WAIT to go down and see the fam. It's 9...now 8 days, obviously in counting. I get to see my Grandma Nonie and Grandpa Ralph (Dad's mom) and my Aunt Linda (Dad's sister) and hopefully my Uncle Chris (Dad's bro. Seeing a pattern here?). Then, though I'm not sure for how long, we (most likely just Mom and I) will motor on over to Grandpa John's (Mom's dad) and see my HORSIE!!! YAY!!! Well, it's almost 1 a.m., so I'm gonna stop here and continue tomorrow!
Ta-Ta!!
A wonderful young lady with Systemic Juvenile Rheumatiod Arthritis and Macrophage Activation Syndrome. I seem to defy the laws of modern medical science. We are home, and the wacky regimen of meds is working........for now. I know that God intended this life, and has a plan for me, be it dying tomorrow or living to be 100. I like to think that even though my life is tough, everything I've been through (and will go through) will help someone to not have to go through their life quite as hard.

Hi guys. So, I have some really un-good news. Most of you know about the trip I went on in September. It was called Sunshine Kids, and Prudential Insurance sponsors it. Multiple times a year kids get to go on once in a lifetime trips, to do things, meet people, and just have fun. It is mainly for kids with cancer, but they make exceptions (as in my case). So, the group of kids I got to go with, there were people from all over the country. One of them, Matt, he kind of got on my nerves. Once I got to know him, he was actually really cool. Well, he passed away this morning. I guess he had common leukemia. He relapsed, and got a bad infection. His immune system was not strong enough to fight it, and he died. Please pray for his family, and friends. It was such a waste of life, him dying. He was only, like, 13 or 14. Just barely starting to live, and now he's gone. It just goes to show how fragile life is, and how you really do (forgive the cliche) need to live life to the fullest. It's a crying shame, but there's nothing we can do but console ourselves with the fact that he is in heaven.

Hi there. Hope everyone is good. I surely am. No homework today. I have almost A's in two classes and an A+ in one. My science teacher gave me a way high compliment today (that I was very smart, and should take AP Biology. We are filling in our transcripts for next year). I might take an AP English class too. And Sociology. And Craft Survey (so I can take art studio 2nd semester). And maybe Spanish (bilingual looks good on applications and resumes). I really need to see my counselor, but the secretary is being very uncooperative. She won't let me make an appointment, and I really need to talk to my advisor to see what I am supposed to do about my homeschooling stunt. I am in 9th grade, but am in English 2, which is a class I'm supposed to take next year. I was supposed to be in English 1 this year, but I must have scored high on the assessment test. I don't know. Enough talk about school. Sorry my blog is so boring (even if boring is good).
